Brief history:

The firm was founded in 1935 by Wilhelm Frank in Stuttgart, who was the first producer of window fittings in the world that made it possible to open windows in two planes - vertical and horizontal. V. Frank's brilliant invention - rotary-folding mechanism - signified a technical break in the sphere of window production.
Production of rotary-folding devices in an industrial way led to the establishment of the large concern JSC Roto Frank. Its head office is located in the city of Leinfelden, Germany not far from Stuttgart.
The concern includes 12 factories: three in Germany, two ones in the USA and Hungary as well as in Austria, France, Slovenia, Poland and China. Representatives and Roto service bureau are located in 38 countries of the world.
Roto group has developed two production directions: window fittings and construction elements, dormer windows and attic stairs The group is market leader in both core divisions - construction hardware technology for windows and balcony doors, and construction elements (roof windows and loft ladders).
After the development of construction and quickly built modern trade pavilions an interest in devices for aluminium doors and windows as well as in multi-locking door locks systems has noticeably grown.
